St-James Drop-In marched in solidarity with fellow community resources during La Grande Marche for La Nuit des Sans-Abri, helping raise awareness, break stigma, and give a collective voice to the many people experiencing homelessness in Montreal and across Quebec.

That evening, folks stopped by our kiosk at La Nuit des Sans-Abri Faubourg, hosted by the fabulous Comité Social. We spent the night connecting with so many inspiring resources in our neighborhood, including Geipsi, Auberge du Tournant, Sac à Dos, La Rue des Femmes, Exeko, and many more. Free food, hot coffee, haircuts, and essential items were available throughout the evening for community members who needed them.

We were especially happy to see some familiar faces from our St-James community. Those visits warmed our hearts and reminded us why these moments of connection matter so much.
We feel lucky to have been part of such an important event. This year’s theme was visibility, and with all the smiles, laughter, music, and community spirit shared throughout the evening, everyone was seen, heard, and welcomed. No one was invisible.
